Exam Bank For World Architecture Throughout the Ages – 5Th Edition By Michael Fazio

  • ISBN-10 ‏ : ‎ 9781260091557
  • ISBN-13 ‏ : ‎ 978-1260091557

The fifth edition of World Architecture Throughout the Ages delves into the fundamental characteristics of architecture by integrating a comprehensive examination of western architecture with Pre-Columbian America, and an overview of architecture from the Middle East, India, Russia, China, and Japan. This latest edition showcases more than 450 new images, a fresh essay on Pope Pius II’s vision, and updates on constructions around the globe, including those repurposed and those destroyed by ISIS.

Presented in a lucid and captivating manner, the text prompts readers to scrutinize meticulously in photographs and sketches the practical, innovative, and aesthetic qualities of buildings, encouraging contemplation on how these would have been appraised or condemned by contemporary observers. Architecture is analyzed from multiple perspectives – artistic, economic, environmental, political, social, and technological – in order to evaluate how well buildings served the requirements of clients, society in general, and upcoming generations.
