Business Study Techniquesprovides a comprehensive overview of conducting corporate research and serves as an excellent guide for students beginning a research project.

Tailored specifically for business and management learners, this textbook delves into the essence and purpose of corporate research and the challenges it encompasses, while also furnishing students with practical advice through “Concepts and Skills” segments. In addition to a wide array of pertinent examples, the book features a significant discourse on ethics, and places strong emphasis on the most common hurdles encountered by students, such as formulating a research query, mapping out a project, and composing it effectively.

This edition boasts contemporary perspectives and voices. With the addition of new author Bill Harley, the global scope of the book is further enhanced, drawing from his expertise within the Australian business and management landscape. You’ll also benefit from insights and recommendations from an additional five students in the ‘student experience’ section, which help you avoid common pitfalls and follow their successful strategies when conducting your own research project.

This edition has undergone extensive revision, updates, and streamlining. The integration of E Research is now threaded throughout the entire book to reflect the core presence of internet-based research methodologies.
