Steve V. Hatch is an educator at the Lincoln School of Technology (LCT), Denver Campus, formerly known as Denver Automotive and Diesel School (DADC). Engaged in the automotive industry since 1972, he has served as a mechanic in both secondary market establishments and authorized service centers. Professor Hatch commenced his teaching journey in 1989, tutoring evening courses while maintaining his role as a drivability specialist in a service center. He commenced full-time instruction in August 1991 at DADC and has subsequently undertaken responsibilities as an instructor and curriculum designer for the institution, in addition to serving as a training facilitator for Snap-on Technical Training. In 1994, he became affiliated with Colorado’s Air Care retraining initiative, devised to augment the comprehension of contemporary systems among proficient technicians. In cooperation with Bridgestone, Professor Hatch devised a nationwide development initiative for service centers throughout the United States to increase the diagnostic precision of lead specialists in 2002. These establishments now encompass Firestone, Tires Plus, and Wheel Works. Professor Hatch holds accreditation as an ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician and is also ASE L1 and L3 Certified. He educates both experienced technicians and novice learners on an ongoing basis throughout the calendar year.
