Christian Arens brings over 15 years of theoretical and practical business, promotion, and marketing experience. He has held positions such as Associate at Catalyst S+F, President at MindTime Technologies, VP/Digital Strategy at DraftFCB and VP Group Media Director at Carat Interactive. During his promotional career, Chris worked with clients like Motorola, RadioShack, Amazon.com, Electronic Arts, EarthLink, AT&T, Taco Bell, Levi’s, MLB.com, AAA, Microsoft, Avaya, Progressive insurance, and more. Proficient in initiating and supporting companies in capital-raising, which he still guides in business strategy, revenue/channel growth, marketing, promotion, and fundraising. Chris is also an active figure in the digital advertising community, frequently speaking at industry gatherings.

Michael F. Weigold holds the position of Professor of Marketing at the University of Florida. He has been teaching the introductory marketing class for nearly two decades at UF and also imparts knowledge in courses related to marketing research, advertising campaigns, science communication, and communication theories.

Professor Weigold has been honored with multiple awards for both his teaching and research work. He was recognized as International Educator of the Year for the College of Journalism and Communications in 2007 and was chosen as one of twenty International Ambassadors for the University of Florida. That same year, he was conferred with a Faculty Achievement Award by UF.

He is either the sole author or a co-author of more than 40 published works and numerous conference papers. He has been presented with a Faculty of Journalism and Communications Researcher of the Year award, and his research endeavors have been financially supported by organizations such as the Kaiser Family Foundation, the Shands Cancer Center, and NASA.

Professor Weigold has prior professional involvement in account planning at Fraily & Wilson, an advertising agency based in Orlando. He has also provided consultancy services to various entities, including KOBACO in South Korea, Unilever, NASA, and several local clients.
