Annmarie Hanlon delivers teachings in Digital and Social Media Marketing at the Cran area Faculty of Administration and is an expert involved in digital advertising strategy and social media projects with regional, national, and international organizations.
Having originally completed a degree in French and Linguistics, she later achieved a Masters in Business Administration, specializing in marketing planning. She pursued the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma, receiving the Worshipful Company of Market’ award for outstanding international achievements. A pioneer in the field, operating in ‘online marketing’ since 1990, Dr. Hanlon holds Fellow status in the Chartered Institute of Marketing, is a member of the Marketing Institute Ireland, and is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Market. A previous recipient of the M Scholarship, her research focuses on the strategic application of digital marketing and social media within organizational contexts, differences in practices across generations, and ethical considerations in practice.
