Myrtle P. Bell is a Management Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she has been teaching diversity-related courses to both graduate and undergraduate students for more than 15 years. She has obtained degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Louisiana State University, and the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research focuses on diversity and workplace social issues and has been published in prestigious academic journals like Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Journal of Applied Psychology, Gender, Work & Organization, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Vocational Behavior, as well as numerous edited collections. She actively participates in the Gender and Diversity in Organizations Division of the Academy of Management, where she has held leadership positions, and has served as a member of the Academy’s Board of Governors. Her contributions to diversity research, mentorship, and education have received international recognition.
