Dr. William A. McEachern commenced teaching extensive sections of economic principles shortly after joining the University of Connecticut. Following this, he commenced conducting teaching workshops nationwide. In 2000, the University of Connecticut Alumni Association bestowed upon him its University Excellence in Teaching Award. Prior to this, he had received the Association’s accolade for Distinguished Public Service.
