Lillian A. Mundt, EdD, MLS(ASCP)SH, LMT(NCBMT) is a clinical laboratory scientist, massage therapist, curriculum designer, and writer. Her background includes a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, a master’s degree in health professions education, and a doctoral degree in academic administration. Over three decades, she has crafted and delivered phlebotomy courses, clinical laboratory science programs, and postgraduate programs in various hospital and university settings. She has produced course materials utilized in web-based continuing education programs for colleges and universities, as well as online continuing education enterprises. Moreover, Dr. Mundt has written numerous articles for scholarly publications, a publication for Lippincott, Williams, and Wilkins, and a doctoral thesis. Dr. Mundt has presented at regional, state, and national conferences since 1994. Kathryn A. Booth, RN-BSN, RMA (AMT), RPT, CPhT, MS is a licensed nurse (RN) with a master’s degree in education as well as credentials in phlebotomy, pharmacy technology, and medical assisting. She is an author, an instructor, and a consultant for Full Care Programming, Inc. With over three decades of teaching, nursing, and healthcare practice across five states. Kathy, as an educator, has been recognized as the educator of the year in three states where she taught various health sciences, including medical assisting in both classroom and online formats. Kathy contributes to the AMT Examinations, Qualifications, and Standards committee, as well as the advisory panel for two educational institutions. She stays current by working in various clinical settings and by obtaining and renewing certifications. Her primary aim is to develop contemporary, dynamic healthcare education resources to aid her and other educators and to advocate for healthcare professions.
