Terence Ball received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley and instructs political philosophy at Arizona State University. He previously lectured at the University of Minnesota and has assumed temporary professor roles at Oxford University, Cambridge University, and the University of California, San Diego. His publications include Revamping Political Dialogue (Blackwell, 1988), Reevaluating Political Philosophy (Oxford University Press, 1995), and a mystery novel, Rousseau’s Ghost (SUNY Press, 1998).

Richard Dagger achieved his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and has tutored at Arizona State University and Rhodes College, currently holding the position of political science professor at the University of Richmond. He has served as a faculty fellow at the Center for Ethics and Public Affairs, Tulane University, and has authored numerous works in political and legal philosophy, including Civic Virtues: Rights, Citizenship, and Republican Liberalism (Oxford University Press, 1997).

Daniel I. O’Neill possesses a Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles and currently serves as Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Florida. He is the writer of The Burke-Wollstonecraft Debate: Barbarism, Civilization, and Democracy (Penn State University Press, 2007) and is the coeditor of Illusion of Permission: Engaging with Carole Pateman (Penn State University Press, 2008).
