Recipient of the esteemed Leavey Foundation Award in Free Enterprise Education, the Distinguished Teaching award at her institution, and a two-time finalist for the CASE Ohio Teacher of the Year, Schindler has four decades of experience teaching business research, marketing management, and creative advertising. As the author and long-standing Director of Wittenberg’s Center for Applied Management, she oversaw the successful Small Business Institute (SBI) program (recipient of the 1996 National Showcase Award for its innovative excellence) and the Project Management Assistance program, through which she has mentored over 350 undergraduate students in conducting experiential research and strategic projects for various businesses, non-profits, and government agencies. Schindler, now a professor emeritus of Business Administration at Wittenberg University, advises faculty on research methods and marketing and serves as a strategic management consultant.
