Explore the realm of animal biology with this succinct text. Uncover fundamental concepts of evolution, ecology, animal anatomies, and taxonomy. Following these initial sections, readers plunge into the biological world of all animal groups. The distinctive characteristics of each group are analyzed, including the evolutionary connections among group members. Noteworthy chapters feature newly identified traits in animals concerning environmental interactions, conservation biology, and their relevance to human civilization.
