About the Author

James L. Burrow, Ph.D., possesses a background in marketing and human capital development. He collaborates regularly with the business community and other organizations as a consultant on marketing and performance enhancement strategies along with the use of the Internet as an education and training resource. Recently retired from the faculty of North Carolina State University, where he held the position of coordinator of the graduate Training and Development Program for over fifteen years. Dr. Burrow holds degrees from the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Nebraska in marketing and advertising education.

Brad A. Kleindl, Ph.D., currently serves as dean of the College of Business at Park University in Kansas City, Missouri. Formerly, he was the dean and professor of marketing at The Robert W. Plaster School of Business Administration at Missouri Southern State University. He has authored and co-authored six books and over 60 articles and conference papers. Dr. Kleindl has been a Senior Fulbright Scholar twice, in 2007 in Austria and 2003 in South Africa. He has taught courses in consumer behavior, marketing research, principles of marketing, Internet marketing, international marketing, and has presented at conferences and industry events across the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Dr. Michael B. Becraft has experience in both industry and higher education in roles such as developing standardized tests, corporate training, leading a multinational support team, and academic work as both a faculty member and senior administrator. During his time at Park University, he initially held the position of Assistant Dean of the College of Business, later becoming the Edward F. Lyle Professor of Finance and Director of the Graduate Program in Business. Previously, he was the assistant vice president for academic affairs at Austin Peay State University. Becraft is licensed to teach secondary social sciences and is certified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency/Emergency Management Institute in disaster and emergency management.
