Dr. Sara R. Rinfret holds the role of a Professor of Public Administration and is an Affiliate Vice Provost of College Affairs at Northern Arizona College. With over a decade of experience in upper education administration, she is a widely known expert in regulatory policy, environmental policy, and public administration. Previously, she acted as the Dean for the Alexander Blewett School of Law, led the Department of Public Administration and Policy, and directed the Master of Public Administration program at the University of Montana. She has authored 8 books, more than 40 peer-reviewed articles, and several book chapters. Dr. Rinfret received the Fulbright Specialist Program in public administration and conducted research with scholars at the University of Aarhus (Denmark, 2016). She completed her MPA from the John Glenn School of Public Affairs (Ohio State) and obtained a PhD in political science from Northern Arizona University.
Denise Scheberle currently serves as a clinical teaching professor in the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado– Denver. She is Professor Emerita from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay and held the title of Herbert Fisk Johnson Professor in Environmental Studies, as well as being a professor and chair of the Department of Public and Environmental Affairs. Denice has been honored with national, state, and campus teaching accolades, including the American Political Science Association’s (APSA) Distinguished Teaching Award and the University of Wisconsin Regents Teaching Excellence Award. She is the author of Industrial Catastrophes and Environmental Policy: Accounts of Antagonists, Champions, and the Rest of Us and Federalism and Environmental Policy: Confidence and the Governance of Administration, alongside numerous articles. Her research concentrates on environmental policy, public service, and intergovernmental relations. She obtained a PhD in political science from Colorado State University and an MPA from the University of Wyoming.
Michelle C. Pautz holds the position of professor of political science and assistant provost of the Common Academic Program at the University of Dayton. Her research has been featured in publications such as Administration & Society, Administrative Theory & Praxis, Journal of Political Science Education, Journal of Environmental Studies & Sciences, Journal of Public Affairs Education, Policy Studies Journal, PS: Political Science & Politics, Public Voices, and the Review of Policy Analysis, among others. She is the author of Civil Servants on the Silver Screen: Hollywood’s Portrayal of Government and Bureaucrats; co-author of The Tiny Regulators of Environmental Regulation: The Perspective of State Regulators and U.S. Environmental Policy in Motion: Practice & Implementation (now in its second edition), both co-written with Sara Rinfret; and co-editor of Administering the U.S. Food System: Revisiting Food Policy and Politics. She was presented with the University of Dayton’s Alumni Award for Faculty Teaching in 2016. She holds a PhD in public administration and an MPA from Virginia Tech. She attained a BA in economics, political science, and public administration from Elon University.
